Sunburn features a personified sun shooting out UV rays through his eyes at a nearby sunbather. The original idea came from Sascha Schneider’s work Hypnosis (1904), where a beam of light shoots out from one figure’s eyes into another. Here, that idea takes a more gruesome route where the beam of light penetrates through the body onto the other side. Fire and smoke erupt as the lounger stands defenseless.
-10×8 Inch Inkjet Print: Printed on Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy with Epson Claria Ink. Each print has a quarter inch boarder on each side. Under ideal conditions, the colors will not fade for 25-30 years. This print is signed and titled by the artist on the back, then shipped in a secure rigid mailer.
